Description
The
Fasteners 3dPrintSettings command can be used to change the 3D print settings. These settings are there to compensate for shrinkage and other issues that may affect 3D printed fasteners.
The settings can also be found in the preferences: in the menu select Edit → Preferences and then
Fasteners.
Usage
- There are several ways to invoke the command:
- Press the
3D Print Settings button.
- Select the Fasteners →
3D Print Settings option from the menu.
- The 3D print settings task panel open.
- Optionally change the Thread generation to
3D printer compatible.
- Optionally change the Screw Scaling.
- Optionally change the Nut Scaling.
- Optionally press the Save and Update button to save the settings and update the threaded fasteners in the current document.
- Press the OK button to save the settings and close the task panel.
