Description
A launch lug is a small tube attached to the side of the rocket that allows the rocket to be guided using a rod until it is fast enough to be aerodynamically stable.
Usage
- There are several ways to invoke the command:
- Press the
Launch Lug button.
- Select the Rocket → Launch Guides→
Launch Lug option from the menu.
- Double click on a Launch Lug object in the Tree view.
- Set options and press OK.
Properties
Launch Lug
- DataInner Diameter: The diameter of the inside of the launch lug
- DataLength: The length of the launch lug
- DataOuter Diameter: The diameter of the outside of the launch lug
Rocket Component
These parameters are provided for information and have no effect on the design of the component.
- DataDescription: Description of the component
- DataManufacturer: Manufacturer when known
- DataMaterial: Material when known
- DataPart Number: Manufacturer part number
