Description
The 
Part Import command imports geometry from a different file format into the active document. The supported file formats are: STEP (with or without colors), IGES (with or without colors), and BREP.
Usage
- Set up the Import Export Preferences in the Preferences Editor.
- Select the Part →
Import CAD file... option from the menu. - Optionally select the correct file format in the dialog box.
- Select a file.
- Press the Open button.

- The Std Import command supports many more file formats.
