Std File Menu
Introduction
The Std File Menu is one of the 7 sub-menus in the standard menu:
File Edit View Tools Macro Windows Help
The File menu provides tools related to file input and output.
Tools
The following tools are available in this menu:
New: Creates a new empty document.
Open...: Opens a document or imports files.
- Open Recent: Shows the recent file list.
Close: Closes the active window.
Close All: Closes all windows.
Save: Saves the document.
Save As...: Saves the document under a new file name.
Save a Copy...: Saves a copy of the document under a new file name.
Save All: Saves all opened documents.
Revert: Reverts to the saved version of the document.
Import...: Imports a file into the document.
Export...: Exports object(s) from the document.
Merge project...: Adds the objects from a FreeCAD file to the document.
Document information...: Shows details of the document.
Print...: Prints the document.
Print preview...: Shows a print preview.
Export PDF...: Exports the document as PDF.
Exit: Quits the application.
