概要

「共通ツール」は厳密にはワークベンチではなく、あらゆるワークベンチで利用可能なコマンド、ツールを分類したものです。

Tools

Most Std Base tools can be accessed from the standard menu. Those that are only available via a toolbar or a context menu are listed under Structure toolbar and Additional tools below.

Standard menu

The standard menu is composed of 7 sub-menus. Each sub-menu has a dedicated page. Just click on any of the names below.

Structure toolbar

• New Part: Creates a new part and makes it active.

• Datums: introduced in 1.1

• Coordinate System: Creates a coordinate system object that can be attached to other objects. introduced in 1.1

• Datum Plane: Creates a datum plane object that can be attached to other objects. introduced in 1.1

• Datum Line: Creates a datum line object that can be attached to other objects. introduced in 1.1

• Datum Point: Creates a datum point object that can be attached to other objects. introduced in 1.1

• New Group: Creates a new group.

• Link Actions:

• Make Link: Creates a link.

• Make Sub-Link: Creates a sub-object or sub-element link.

• Replace With Link: Replaces object(s) with new link(s).

• Unlink: Replaces link(s) with their linked object(s).

• Import Link: Imports selected external link(s).

• Import All Links: Imports all external link(s).

• Variable Set: Creates a set of properties that can be used as variables in expressions. introduced in 1.0

Additional tools

• Link Group: Creates a group of links.

• Expression Actions:

• Copy Selected: Copies expression data from selected objects to the Clipboard.

• Copy Active Document: Copies expression data from the active document to the Clipboard.

• Copy All Documents: Copies expression data from all documents to the Clipboard.

• Paste: Pastes expression data from the Clipboard.

• Selection Filter: introduced in 1.0

• Vertex Selection: Only allows the selection of vertices.

• Edge Selection: Only allows the selection of edges.

• Face Selection: Only allows the selection of faces.

• No Selection Filters: Allows the selection of all subelements.

• Select All Instances: Selects all instances of an object in the Tree View.

• Toggle Freeze: Toggles the freeze state of objects. introduced in 1.0

• FreeCAD FAQ: Opens the FreeCAD FAQ wiki page. Not available in 1.1 and above.

• Python scripting documentation: Opens the FreeCAD Power users documentation wiki page. Not available in 1.1 and above.

• Help: Opens the help documentation. Not available in 1.1 and above.

• Measure distance: Creates an object to measure and display a distance. Not available in 1.0 and above. Use Std Measure instead.

• Clear measurement: Clears Part measurements. Not available in 1.0 and above. Use Std Measure instead.

• Toggle measurement: Toggles the display of Part measurements. Not available in 1.0 and above. Use Std Measure instead.
