Introducción

La barra de estado es una cinta simple que aparece en la parte inferior de la interfaz de FreeCAD.

Usage information

Cuando el puntero del mouse está sobre un botón o menú, la información de uso de ese comando se muestra tanto en una ventana emergente de texto como en la barra de estado.

Preselection

La barra de estado también muestra el último objeto preseleccionado (cualquier objeto debajo del puntero está preseleccionado) o elemento de un objeto (vértice, borde, cara) y las coordenadas del puntero del mouse cuando ocurrió la última preselección; esto es útil para conocer inmediatamente las coordenadas de vértices específicos en tus formas. Las coordenadas 3D se actualizan automáticamente mientras el puntero del mouse flota sobre un elemento geométrico; la actualización se detiene cuando el puntero del mouse se coloca sobre un espacio vacío en la vista 3D.

For most Sketcher, Draft (introduced in 26.3) and BIM (introduced in 26.3) tools, dynamic input hints are displayed in the Status Bar.

Quick Measure

The Quick Measure feature uses the right side of the Status Bar to show measurements based on the selection in 3D View.

Depending on the selection the following measurements are displayed:

  • Edge length
  • Face area
  • Distance between points, edges or faces
  • Angle between edges
  • Radius of circular edges or cylindrical faces
  • introduced in 1.1: Diameter of circles and cylindrical faces
  • introduced in 26.3: Diameter of circular faces
  • introduced in 1.1: Axis distance between circular elements and faces, edges or other circular elements

Notifications

Right-clicking this widget opens a context menu with the following options:

  • Delete User Notifications: TBD.
  • Delete All: TBD.

Navigation Styles

The Navigation Styles widget shows the current Mouse navigation style. Clicking the widget opens a menu with the available styles and a Settings submenu with the following options:

  • Orbit style: See Preferences Editor.
  • Compact: If this option is checked only a mouse icon is shown in the widget.
  • Tooltip: If this option is checked hovering the widget will show a tooltip with detailed usage information.

Unit System

La barra de estado muestra el modo ratón de navegación y el nivel de zoom a la derecha. El nivel de zoom proporciona el tamaño de la vista 3D actual en unidades apropiadas para la escala actual, por ejemplo, milímetros (mm) o metros (m).

Context menu

Right-clicking the Status Bar opens a context menu with checkboxes to toggle the following widgets:

If the pointer is over the Preselection widget or the Quick Measure widget the following options are added:

  • Copy: Copies the information selected with the next option.
  • Select All: Selects the current information.

The Notifications widget has its own context menu.
