Description

The TechDraw ExtensionCustomizeFormat tool customizes the formatting of a balloon text or dimension text. GD&T symbols and other special characters can be added.

The Customize Format task panel

Usage

1. Select a Balloon object or a Dimension object.
2. There are several ways to invoke the tool:
   • Press the Customize format label button.
   • Select the TechDraw → Extensions: Attributes/Modifications → Customize format label option from the menu.
3. The Customize Format task panel opens.
4. Edit the Format field using the available task panel buttons and/or the keyboard.
5. The Preview field shows the result of the current formatting.
6. Press the OK button.
