Description
The Arch StructuralSystem tool creates a structural system from a Structure object and one or two Axis objects. It distributes the structure along the axes, creating repetitive structures like column or beam grids.
Usage
- Select an Arch Structure object.
- Select one or two Arch Axis objects to define the grid. If two Axis objects are selected, one or more of their axes must intersect.
- Select the Utils → Structure Tools →
Structural System option from the menu. - The structural system is created.
Notes
- The resulting structural system maintains a relationship with the Axis object(s).
- For a single Axis object the start point of each axis line will host a copy of the Structure object. For two Axis objects each axis intersection will host a copy.
- The position of the original Structure object relative to the origin is taken into account.
