概要
The
Sketcher CreateArcOfHyperbola tool creates a hyperbolic arc.

Pos-OVP = Positional On-View-Parameters.
Dim-OVP = Dimensional On-View-Parameters.

- There are several ways to invoke the tool:
- Press the
Hyperbolic Arc button.
- Select the Sketch → Geometries →
Hyperbolic Arc option from the menu.
- Use the keyboard shortcut: G then H.
- The cursor changes to a cross with the tool icon.
- Pick the center of the major radius of the arc (labelled 1 in the image above). Or with Pos-OVP: enter its X- and/or Y-coordinate.
- Pick the vertex of the arc (labelled 2 in the image above), this also defines its major radius. Or with Dim-OVP: enter this radius and/or the angle of the axis of the arc. The angle is relative to the X-axis of the sketch.
- Pick the start point of the arc (labelled 3 or 4 in the image above), this also defines its minor radius. Or with Dim-OVP: enter this radius and/or the start parameter of the arc. The parameter is relative to the axis of the arc. No constraint is created for this parameter.
- Pick the endpoint of the arc (labelled 3 or 4 in the image above). Or with Dim-OVP: enter the end parameter of the arc. The parameter is relative to the start of the arc. No constraint is created for this parameter.
- The hyperbolic arc is created, including a set of internal geometry, and applicable Pos-OVP and Dim-OVP based constraints are added.
- If the tool runs in continue mode:
- Optionally keep creating arcs.
- To finish, right-click or press Esc, or start another geometry or constraint creation tool.
